5 Year old Kid Accidently Hacked Xbox and Appreciated by Microsoft

People are fascinated with the gaming experience these days but some games like Microsoft’s halo is very offensive in terms of combat and war type, something that parents don’t want their children to see or play so they set a password for the game and can go outside just be sure about that their kids won't play it but a 5 year old kid accidentally breached the security of Xbox one live account and playing the game continuously until when his father figured out that his son was playing the game. The Kid is from Los Angeles and his name is Kristoffer, the flaw was—when it asked for password, he continuously pressed space and then pounded the enter button repeatedly and it worked correctly and security bypasses and now he can play any game he want.

TechCrunch Reported “Late April Fool’s joke? Doesn't seem like it. Word of Kristoffer’s 1337-ness comes from ABC10 news down in LA, who notes that Microsoft took the bug seriously enough to give Kristoffer a security researcher credit after the bug was patched. Sure enough, a quick glance at Microsoft’s security acknowledgements for March lists one Kristoffer Wilhelm von Hassel. He’s one of few individuals on the page whose name doesn’t link to a Twitter account, since he’s… you know, too young to have a Twitter account.”

The same incident happen at facebook, when a security researcher from Israel name “Khalil” founded a bug in the password matching module of FB and reported them but they didn’t rewarded his bounty. But unlike this Microsoft took the bug seriously and appreciate him as security researcher, company listed him a contributor to their bug fixing list from March 2014 and also paid him the reward to finding the bug.
