A ReD Company Sold To ACI Worldwide For $205 Million

The ACI Worldwide is a leading developer of products related to e-commerce payments and backing products and also a leading fraud prevention company in the world now planning to acquire a company in the field. According to the press ACI Worldwide will absorb the Brookwood, England based ReD Systems which is an e-commerce company, for over a $205 million transaction and expected to close in the middle of the third quarter of 2014. The company specializes to provide the products for companies to reduce the fraud during transactions and its work globally. Sometimes it is possible that people could face an invasion of the hacker or interceptions of transactions, but with the software, companies can assure that there will be no problem. The ACI intends to use their technology to focus more on card-not-present situations as the payment system got updated. A study had also revealed that the global e-commerce market will projected to grow 17 % each year and this figure show a $2.4 trillion market worldwide. ACI told to press.

Retailers are currently operating disparate systems for their online, mobile and point-of-sale operations," Philip Heasley, president and CEO of ACI Worldwide, said in a statement. "ACI and ReD together have an unrivaled merchant retail solution — global, omni-channel with integrated fraud management built on Universal Payments technology." Published on a site.

So the solution to that problem will solve that problem and also strengthen the security policies in the companies, and increase a real time tracking system for transactions. Additionally ReD’s Consortium models and business knowledge helped them to serve many large e-commerce giants and they will continue this journey further with the ReD risk management solutions. The transaction says that ACI would be absorbing the employees also and they will be further eliminating the “don’t want” part.
