Finance Board Approved New Security System Installation for TPL

This time, Finance department of TPL i.e. Thomaston Public Library has obtained the approval for new fire alarm as well as security systems installation. On 9th of October, members involved in Finance Board meeting have approved request for replacement of alarms and security systems. Before this, in the year 1984, TPL in United States has undergone for updating of its both security and fire alarming systems. This implies that after 28 years, director of TPL and Trustee Board of Thomaston has expressed the need for replacement of systems. Debra Radosevich, director of TPL has given his viewpoints at the time of his presentation in front of Board of Selectmen.

According to his opinions, “Our security systems are giving their effective functions. However, the main issue is that fire panels fail to communicate with security systems in case of emergencies.” Radosevich further commented, “Every year, smoke detectors are losing little bit of their strength over the passage of time. In fact, our fire alarming systems have become so much weak that become unable to detect the fire.” In addition, fire marshal of TPL also mentioned that library should compulsorily include some additional smoke detectors and sensors to protect the library from fire and burglars.

there are many departments who are making the use of security cameras for investigation purposes. Just like people are using the common mobile accessories such as, Bluetooth headsets, mobile speaker, Keyboards etc. Mr. Debra has further given explanation, “We were taking several steps towards removal of several outdated electrical panels requested by our fire marshals.”
